As musicians we have spent the last 15 years playing
over 1500 gigs together as Cutting Edge, blending 60’s, Beatles,
Rollin Stones, Elvis and Rock 'n Roll etc.
Matt Richford Trio is the result of playing the music we have all enjoyed
listening to for many years and decided this was the direction our trio
would take.
The philosophy of M.R.T. is to provide an image and quality of music
to give that special ingredient to any occasion. Our set list contains
over 180 songs which gives us a large database to work from so we can
provide music to suit all requirements.
We cover a wide area of England including Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire,
Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, West Midlands and Staffordshire
and would be more than willing to consider further afield if required.
CHRIS WHITFORD
Talented vocalist and multi instrumentalist playing keyboard with the
Matt Richford Trio. Very experienced musician playing in bands since
he was 16 years of age.
TONY MATHER
Skilled bassist specialising in upright bass for M.R.T. has played in
various bands since he was 16 years old.
GRAHAM RICHARDSON
Drums and percussion, has played in a wide variety of bands including
dance, country rock and is also an accomplished percussionist.
MATT RICHFORD TRIO derives from a combination of our
surnames.
